People need to realize they cannot have their hand out and their chest out at the same time. For years someone else has placed or determined a value on your net worth. What is the price or value of the contribution you are claiming? Will it carry you through the next hundred years? Will it allow you to build a legacy for your children and grander and their grandchildren? Or will it be just enough to buy another raggedy car, or piece of furniture or other quickly depreciating item? The value of what has been contributed to the building of wealth in this country is priceless. Rather than get a temporary monetary assessment, how about demanding a real opportunity to genuine wealth building by supporting and financing business ventures and economic opportunities that are usually greatly limited or just outright denied.
